At Southern Cash Solutions, our armed security personnel are certified through the Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) and complete state-required training before performing armed duties.

Training That Goes Beyond the Basics

The certification process includes classroom instruction, testing, firearms training, and live-fire qualification. Personnel receive instruction on security responsibilities, firearm safety and handling, and the laws governing armed security in Alabama.

Firearms qualification puts that training into practice. Officers must successfully complete an approved qualification course that includes multiple shooting distances, timed exercises, firearm handling, and reloads. A minimum 80% qualifying score is required.

This isn't simply a one-time certification. Armed security personnel are required to maintain their firearms qualification and complete required refresher training, helping ensure they remain prepared to perform their responsibilities safely and professionally.
